The Pescadores de Ventanas band was founded in the Spring of 2005 by Gustavo Bauchwitz in the city of Berlin, Germany.
Since then the band has played more than 50 concerts in Germany and in other countries (for example in the cities of Prague and Copenhagen).
The band is recently back in Berlin after a tour in Mexico, having played at the renowned festival of Aguascalientes.
Pescadores de Ventanas is a band that plays their own compositions and the music style cannot be easily branded.
The name Pescadores de Ventanas came as the band rehearsed in a ground floor apartment with a view to the street. Pedestrians stopped by to ask what was that music coming out of the window, and so came the thought: Seems like we are fishing people from the window. And that is precisely what the name means in spanish.
The band is based in Berlin, Germany.
El grupo Pescadores de Ventanas fue fundado en la primavera europea de 2005 por Gustavo Bauchwitz en Berlín, Alemania.
Desde entonces la banda ha ofrecido mas de 50 conciertos en Alemania y en otros países (Por ejemplo: En las ciudades de Praga y Copenhague).
El grupo ha regresado recientemente a Berlín luego de una gira por México, habiéndose presentado en el renombrado festival de Aguascalientes.
Pescadores de Ventanas ejecuta sus propias composiciones y a su estilo musical no puede dársele un rótulo determinado.
El nombre Pescadores de Ventanas surgió cuando la banda ensayaba en un departamento en planta baja con vista a la calle. La gente al pasar se detenía a preguntar qué era esa música saliendo de la ventana. Y de ahí la idea: Es como si se pescara gente desde la ventana.
La banda tiene base en Berlín, Alemania.
Die Band Pescadores de Ventanas wurde im Frühling 2005 von Gustavo Bauchwitz in Berlin gegründet.
Seitdem hat die Band mehr als 50 Konzerte in Deutschland und im Ausland gespielt
(z.B. Prag, Kopenhagen).
Vor kurzer Zeit ist die Band von einer Mexico- Tournee zurückgekommen, wo sie u.a. am bekannten Festival von Aguascalientes teilgenommen hat.
Pescadores de Ventanas ist eine Band, die ausschließlich eigene Kompositionen spielt. Der Stil passt nicht in irgendeine Schublade.
Der Name Pescadores de Ventanas entstand, als die Band in einer Erdgeschosswohnung mit Blick auf die Straße probte. Passanten hielten an und fragten, was das für eine Musik sei, die da aus dem Fenster kam. Da entstand der Gedanke: Sie sind eine Art "Fischer aus dem Fenster". Das ist es auch, was der Name auf Spanisch bedeutet.
Die Band hat ihren Sitz in Berlin.
