   About Persepolis Records
Persepolis Records is interested in distinctive and exhilarating music. We're a small collectors' label for discerning listeners willing to be taken to new domains of sound and expression. We are working on our first releases now and hope to have four ready by the end of the year. We're open to proposals, demo's and submissions of completed work. Send CDRs and details to:

Mark Valentine, Persepolis Records, Stable Cottage, Priest Bank Road, Kildwick, Keighley, BD20 9BH.

Our musical tastes are varied, but we are more interested in the avant garde and strange than the mainstream. Our favourite artists of the moment are Plinth, Neutral Milk Hotel, Alessandro Stefana, Coil, David A Jaycock, Jim Fox, La Bradford, Lustmord, Mole Harness, Oophoi, Rachel's, Fulborn Taversham, Jasper Leyland, Nalle, Netherworld, Sir Richard Bishop, Rameses II, Riftmusic, Tin Hat Trio, Xenakis, Zadik Zecharia.

If your music approaches the magnificence of any of the above, please contact: Mark Valentine and/or Ray Russell

Hey Guys
I very much like the principles of what you are aiming for and the music I've heard so far is very much to my liking also. Basically a huge Ka-JOW all round!

Hello! Thank you for the friend request and your lovely compliment. I really love the extremely disparate styles you have working together on this page. All the different ideas, concepts, and images seem to weave and swirl together in a grand picture. The only thing I see that is common to the big picture of your collection is the skillful way in which each artist you work with has a true 'finality'. Everything is over when it needs to be over, and not a second too late or too early. Beautiful!

Hello! Thanks for finding us here, as we are avid supporters of experimental music and, as such, are always seeking new frontiers. People often claim that we, too, are practitioners of the avante garde, but to our own ears, we're just a pop group. Anyway, we give to you our full support and best wishes.

Love,

I am familiar with half the bands you are currently listening to. We don't sound anything like any of them, but have been getting quite a bit of positive feedback. Check our tracks and let us know if you would be interested in being the first to release our psyche percussion noise on the masses in hardcopy form. Otherwise, thanks for finding us and good luck in the new venture.
