Influences
Musical: American Head Charge, Lamb of God, Slipknot, Twisted Method, Ill Nino, Disturbed, Clutch, 40 Below Summer, Trigger Point, Sw1tched, Rikets, As I Lay Dying, Motograter, Slipknot, Nonpoint, Dope, Static X. Korn, Chimaira
Others: The darker side of human nature; hate, deception, lies, distrust and the need to make others miserable to make yourself feel better. Organized religion and the countless atrocities performed in it's name and the desire to destroy that which we do not believe.
Outcasts. Even among their peers who have tried to set themselves apart from those who might pose a threat to the security that they’ve become accustomed. Cowering beneath the belief that everyone is out to screw them, the weak leech off the more gifted and search for a way to keep opposition confined. Hiding behind the protection of their unions, these parasites scrap for any sense of recognition that they can discover while lashing out against those that will not concede to them.
Perimeter Burn is an emerging four piece metal band from Dubuque, IA that has been forced to fight resistance coming from every side; whether it be from outside parties intervening and attempting to drive them apart, or the local music unions keeping them on the outside. They have been thrown out on their own to walk their own path and it is a course that they do not mind. A willingness to play with whoever, where ever and the determination to do it all on their own terms has helped them on their journey and has allowed them to reach out to the masses in the Midwest Area.
With influences including Lamb of God, American Head Charge, As I Lay Dying and All That Remains among others, Perimeter Burn has developed a sound that grabs you by the short and curlies and slaps you in the face. Coupled with a high-octane stage show, Perimeter Burn will make those who have denied them in the past take notice.
No longer will sycophants make the rules and define the parameters of how a band can operate.
Perimeter Burn doesn’t think outside of their box, they burn it to the fucking ground.
