Heroes
I don't really have any heroes, but I love the works of Oscar Wilde, I have a lot of respect for Richard Dawkins, and my favourite musicians of all time are Mark Lanegan and Greg Dulli.
Charles Darwin should probably get a mention too.
My style icon is probably Dita Von Teese, or any of the old-school classic Hollywood starlets. I love the whole retro glamour/vintage style. I say arse to modern fashion and yes to red lipstick and cinched in waists! And double yes to hosiery with SEAMS up the back :-)
I'm currently a researcher in the Linguistics dept at Manchester University.
I'm into music more than anything, and I also like photography, reading, hanging out with friends, writing, cycling, going on holiday, and a nice bottle of red.
My musical heroes are Mark Lanegan and Greg Dulli- I think they're both just so talented and I enjoy their music so much.
Who I'd like to meet: Greg Dulli.
Update- Ok, now I have met Greg Dulli. He is nice. And tall. I like his hair.
Hello there, just a quick note to say thank you for becoming our friend here on myspace, old and new. We would be grateful to know what your personal opinions are and if you can ever make it to one of our gigs we would love to meet you in person.

Its another Bodog message I am affraid, but it is only to tell you that we are through to the National Final at Manchester Academy 2 on 7th February!!
It is a bit of a school night, but it is Thirsty-Thursday, so if you can make it then that would be absolutely brilliant! There seems to be an issue with the online ticket sales, but you can get them by calling the Manchester Academy Box Office. Let us know if you have any problems.
If it is anything like the last one, this will be such a great event and we cant wait to see you there (we have addded an album of photos from the City Final, so go have a look too!)
Look froward to hearing from you
