I am interested in networking with other like-minded independent musicians, teachers, and music fans. I am not interested in “collecting” friends. In other words, do not ask me to add you as a friend if you do not have the time or intention to send me a message or post a hello comment. I will respond to all messages and comments as time permits.

I began playing guitar seriously at the age of 14 in 1979 (after briefly dabbling in it around the age of 9). I joined my first band about two years later, around 1981. I have played in a few local bands over the years, including a short stint on bass guitar for the C.O.D. band. I also played guitar, wrote and recorded for a couple of original projects, and have engineered recordings and mixed live sound for other local bands. I have played and mixed countless shows over the past 26 years.

I teach private guitar lessons at the Main Street Music Academy in Johnson City, New York. If you live in Binghamton, Johnson City, Vestal, Endicott, Endwell or the surounding areas (including Pennsylvania) and want quality lessons from an experienced professional guitar teacher - look no further!

I am working on several instructional guitar projects including several books and an istructional DVD. I also work with Tom Hess as co-manager of his Music Careers Mentoring Program. I am in the process of writing songs for my first full length instrumental CD as well as working with ex-Full Circle bassist/ vocalist Kevin Hamm on his solo CD. Both of these projects will feature drummer Felice DiRienzo. We will be performing live as a band early in 2008, playing a combination of Kevin’s vocal songs, my instrumentals and a few cover tunes.

I love anything featuring great guitar work incuding jazz, blues, and all rock styles. I'm not into "angry" bands. I am a huge fan of the Finnish hard rock bands HIM and Charon.
