I played all over Ireland then moved to the USA in the 1980s. I am still playing gigs to date. I hope you enjoy the pictures and especially the ones from the Breeder's Cup 2006!
Thanks for the comments mate. I actually think I have achieved something if people comment. Even if they don’t like what I say, they have at least taken the time to think about it. The world is big enough for a lot of different opinions. You have a great sound by the way. Keep your eyes out for my friend Anne McCue. She may be a distant relative. She is based in Nashville but plays all over the US. Check her Myspace for when she gets near Illinois. Cheers AR
What a great weekend at The Irish Cottage in Galena Illinois! We've posted some of the pictures from Ladies Getaway on our MySpace page. We'll see you again at the end of the month - Sept 28 & 29!
Thanks for the add! It's always great to have you at The Irish Cottage in Galena, Illinois. We hope your fans will come see you soon...maybe August 23-25 or September 28-29. For up-to-date Paul McHugh dates at Frank O'Dowd's visit www.TheIrishCottage.com.
Thanks for the add. Your not to far away from where I live. Would be great to have you here in Fort Wayne for a concert sometime. I was listening to your music on your page. Sounds great!
Cool. Tell the lads I was asking for them. They know about Music at the Crossroads. We'll be playing the Five Flags theatre in Dubuque next march. Might try to call in then..

Hey Paul! It took me long enough but I didn't realize you were THE Paul McHugh from the Great Days in the pubs. I'm still playing with Tom & Chris Kastle (www.kastles.net) and doing some solo stuff as well. Also, the maritime music led to a career as a tall ship captain around the Lakes as well. Good to hear you again. Keep in touch.
