They say Baltimore based Dj / Producer, James Nasty creates a musical experience like no other blending showmanship with turntable skills and a track selection full of flavor. He takes you on a journey from deep, hard, soulful, funky, disco, afro-latin house tunes to high energy Baltimore Club tracks with a seamlessly blended crescendo. that naturally makes crowds move, shake, sweat and beg for more. He's rocked out at some the definitive venues in Baltimore and Washington DC including Sonar, Sky Lounge, Stadio, Avenue and Shorty's. He occasionally plays in Orlando, FL at Club Firestone.
James Nasty's compositions are both infectious and innovative. The Hairspray EP, his first release with business partner/collaborator Dj Rut has received good reviews. Some of his unoffically released tracks have been featured on some of the highly visited music blogs such as DiscoBelle.net and Iheartcomix.com. He is on a mission to release strictly the the best music to the masses on the label he co-founded, Club City Records.
Chinese Virgin A Chinese couple gets married. She's a virgin and, truth be told, he is none too experienced either. On the wedding night, she cowers naked under the bed sheets as her husband undresses. He climbs in next to her and tries to be reassuring:
"My darring" he says, "I know dis yo firs time and you berry frighten. I pomise you, I give you anyting you want, I do anyting... just anyting you want, you say. Whatchou want?" he says, trying to sound experienced, which he hopes will impress his virgin bride.
A thoughtful silence follows and he waits patiently (and eagerly) for her request. She eventually replies shyly and unsure, "I want... numba 69!" More thoughtful silence, this time from him. Eventually, in a puzzled tone he queries... "You want... Beef wif Broccori?
