BOOKMARKS RODDY HART...
Bookmarks is the debut studio album from 26 year old Scottish singer/songwriter Roddy Hart, released in the UK in May 2006 on Vertical Records. Written and produced by Roddy co-produced with Paul McGeechan, it features guest performances from legendary US singer Kris Kristofferson, Scotland's very own Eddi Reader, and members of the Trashcan Sinatras, amongst others.
Park Lane is a superbly designed creative enviroment.
The 650 sq.ft. (60 sq.m) playing area contains several specialised acoustic zones. A vaulted ceiling finished in Canadian maple contributes to the unique ambience that enables natural live recordings to be captured. The adjacent control was refurbished Jan 2006 and equipped with a Digidesign HD system coupled with a Digidesign D-Command. At this point surround monitoring was also included.
Some of our recent clients include.
Paulo Nutini, El Presedente, Roddy Hart, The Proclaimers, Capercaillie, Hue & Cry, Martin Taylor, Eddi Reader, Drive By Argument, Julie Fowlis., Kathlean McKinnes, Magie McKinnes, Donald Shaw, James Grant, Emillie Smith, The Red Hot Chillie Pipers. To name just a few.
Park Lane Recording Studios started life in 1980 as a 16 track and was used by such local bands as DEACON BLUE, THE BLUEBELLS, ALTERED IMAGES, LLOYD COLE and LOVE AND MONEY. to make their first demos.
Since then, the list of clients who have recorded albums and singles at Park Lane reads like a who's who of Scottish music:- TEXAS, G.U.N, DEL AMITRI, BIG COUNTRY, HIPSWAY, WET WET WET, THE NECTERINE No.9. , etc.

God, everyone seems to be using the comments page to shamelessly self-promote.
Well, I'd like to offer a shout out to ROB LANE studios, CONSISTENTLY UNDERCUTTING OUR COMPETITORS since 2007.
Hah! No, sadly the MBox has been locked awa' while I finish all the work I've got on. Expect a slew of questions along the lines of "what the f**k is RTAS?", "what's the shortcut for..." and "how can I do the twa yin zero" after April, however.
Plus, I'm probably going to book some time to record drums, so make sure you get the coffee and empire biscuits looked out in advance.
Hello gentlemen...hope you are both very well. I have a new track up on myspace which is for my creative project, I hope you like it. There are also some other demos there too. Merry Christmas when it comes guys...have a good one! Craig.
