Park Lane is a superbly designed creative enviroment. The 650 sq.ft. (60 sq.m) playing area contains several specialised acoustic zones. A vaulted ceiling finished in Canadian maple contributes to the unique ambience that enables natural live recordings to be captured. The adjacent control was refurbished Jan 2006 and equipped with a Digidesign HD system coupled with a Digidesign D-Command. At this point surround monitoring was also included.

Park Lane Recording Studios started life in 1980 as a 16 track and was used by such local bands as DEACON BLUE, THE BLUEBELLS, ALTERED IMAGES, LLOYD COLE and LOVE AND MONEY. to make their first demos.

Since then, the list of clients who have recorded albums and singles at Park Lane reads like a who's who of Scottish music:- TEXAS, G.U.N, DEL AMITRI, BIG COUNTRY, HIPSWAY, WET WET WET, THE NECTERINE No.9. , etc.
