About the music:
Heavy guitars, soaring vocals, driving drums and deep orchestrations…for one purpose…glorifying the name of Jesus Christ. Parable51’s Reclaimed EP has a strong blend of originals, and classic rock favorites that have been given new purpose. With obvious progressive rock qualities, Reclaimed is a roller-coaster ride of encouragement and conviction, backed with an inspired passion that comes from the One, True and Living God! It will be a music experience unlike most you have heard.
About Parable51:
Parable51 is not a band. It is an open music ministry structured to use the talents of many within the body of Christ. The goal is simple…us smaller, Jesus bigger. No egos, no self-promotion…just Christ glorified. If you want to be a fan of our music, please do so not to glorify Parable51 or its contributors, but instead to draw closer to Jesus. If you don’t know Jesus, please read below. You can visit our website HERE for more details about the Parable51 approach.
Eternal Issues:
Most people will agree that we are souls in temporary bodies. The vast majority of the world’s population agrees that there is life after this earthly existence. Why is it then, that most of us spend the bulk of our time pursuing temporary riches and status on this earth, and spend so little time on our eternal destiny? Do you take exception to any of the following statements?
God created us and everything around us.
We chose/choose to sin and have all sinned.
God hates sin so much so that He can’t have it in His presence.
God sent Jesus to pay for our sin and restore us to relationship with Him if only we will accept the Gift.
We cannot earn our way to heaven no matter how good we think we are.
Satan is real and wants to destroy us by seperating us from God.
God wrote a Book about all of these things called The Bible.
If you have allowed the world to water down any of these truths in your heart and mind, you are in eternal danger. The excuses for not turning to Jesus for salvation are innumerable, but usually boil down to one thing… pride. We typically like to formulate our own plans and fashion a god that we can live with. Do you like your eternity plan well enough to bet your soul on it? If not, turn to Jesus today, find a Bible-based church in your area and begin to debunk the lies in your heart and mind. Want to do it right now? Call 1-888-NEED HIM. The creator of the universe wants to have a relationship with you!

Praise the LORD. Praise, O servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD. Let the name of the LORD be praised, both now and forevermore. From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the LORD is to be praised. The LORD is exalted over all the nations, his glory above the heavens. Who is like the LORD our God, the One who sits enthroned on high, who stoops down to look on the heavens and the earth? Psalm 113:1-6
All of my days my lips shall praise you, O Lord! You created the heavens, the earth; the moon and the stars; all that we lay our eyes on is your creation! Thank you for the beauty you have given us to feast upon, and thank you for the sweet fellowship of my brothers and sisters in Christ. Bless them I ask, O Lord, and flood them anew with your presence. Thank you for allowing us to enter into an intimate relationship with you. You are not a far off God, but one who dwells among the praises of His people. Great is your name O Lord and greatly to be praised!
May you continue to walk in the might of the Lord and may His glory burst forth from you as you worship Him in spirit and in truth! Be blessed!
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. Galatians 5:1
HALLELUJAH! Jesus set us free from the bondage of sin! Celebrate the goodness of the Lord and rejoice in all that He has done! Dance with joy and sing His praises as throughout the week as you live for Him! Where the Spirit of the Lord is, THERE IS FREEDOM!!!!
But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ ... (Ephesians 2:4-5)
Remember those who trust in the True God will be blessed.
Isaiah 40: 28. Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard? The everlasting God, Jehovah, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary; there is no searching of his understanding. 29. He giveth power to the faint; and to him that hath no might he increaseth strength. 30. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: 31. but they that wait for Jehovah shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint.
1. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2. I will say of Jehovah, He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in whom I trust. 3. For he will deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, And from the deadly pestilence. 4. He will cover thee with his pinions, And under his wings shalt thou take refuge: His truth is a shield and a buckler. 5. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night, Nor for the arrow that flieth by day; 6. For the pestilence that walketh in darkness, Nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. 7. A thousand shall fall at thy side, And ten thousand at thy right hand; But it shall not come nigh thee. 8. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold, And see the reward of the wicked. 9. For thou, O Jehovah, art my refuge! Thou hast made the Most High thy habitation; 10. There shall no evil befall thee, Neither shall any plague come nigh thy tent. 11. For he will give his angels charge over thee, To keep thee in all thy ways. 12. They shall bear thee up in their hands, Lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. 13. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: The young lion and the serpent shalt thou trample under foot. 14. Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. 15. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble: I will deliver him, and honor him. 16. With long life will I satisfy him, And show him my salvation.
MyHotCommentsLet us remember that this day is not about bunnies, baskets, or candy. It is about the greatest sacrifice ever made and the greatest gift ever given. Let us praise God for His unending Grace and Mercy. Let us reflect on the cross, and remember to never take that sacrifice lightly. Jesus died for our salvation, and we need to always be grateful for that. Don't get caught up in the things of this world, and get numb to the things of God. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and remember how much you are loved. You are so precious that God sent His only begotten Son to bare your sins, so you would not go to hell, but live forever with Him in Heaven. This is the greatest gift. Live your life for Jesus, and thank Him. HE IS RISEN!!!!!!!! Glory to God, Hallelujah!

Hey, everyone! My friend Julia Hare is having a birthday on March 15th! She’s been in Zambia since August, working with the organization Rainbow Africa, helping to educate orphaned and abandoned children and provide for their needs. In Julia’s words, “My heart is to take in children who have nowhere else to go and who would otherwise not survive; to give them all the tools they need to be successful in life, and most importantly, bring them into a personal relationship with Christ.” Since it’s tough for her to be so far away from home, I thought it would be nice if we all stopped by her page to encourage her and wish her a happy day. If she’s not already your friend, please request her. Also, while you’re there, why not purchase her latest EP? Heck, why not purchase both of her projects? She’s an incredible musician! Just click on the banner below to get to Julia’s page. Thanks!
