Paperlung formed in late August 2005 when Sice (ex-Boo Radleys) met bass player Simon Gardiner in a bar at Victoria Station. While waiting for trains, they chatted about music and suchlike and decided there and then to form a new band. Simon roped in Ben Datlen - an old friend - to play guitar while Sice sought out Guillaume Jambel and brokered a loan deal with his band Transcargo. Eight weeks later they played their first gig. . .

Hi Paperlung. Thanks for the add. Great vibe you got there. Please check my tracks too when you have a minute. Hope you like them as much as i like yours. Don't forget to listen, cos really that's the only reason why i'm leaving a comment anyway. I mean i listened to your tracks but, ...well actually no i didn't, i'm too busy leaving comments on other people 's pages asking them to listen to my tracks. But it doesn't matter, we're friends right ? I love you Paperlung
Dandelion Radio have put together a documentary show to celebrate a decade of music from the Shifty Disco Records, featuring interviews with boss Dave Newton, tracks from each year of its history, and exclusive live recordings from last night's 'Shifty Disco 10' gig at the Kilburn Luminaire in London.
There are live tracks from Paperlung, The Race, Seagull Strange and My Device and lots of other great music from Shifty Disco.
The show is on at www.DandelionRadio.com, and will repeat daily until the end of February. The full sets from which the documentary's live highlights are taken will feature across several shows in the March schedule.
Ahhhh, PL, thankyou for the great sounds, they always chase away our winter blues!!!
we have 4 new acoustic demos up for grabs, covering the usual: murder, true love, lust of rock n roll and the deathwish of a crop circle faker!
Take care,
Phil Fillmore.

Yes, I made it back in one piece. Remarkably, mum did too. I was offered some camels for her, (seriously!) but decided against it :-)
The Egyptian traders had picked up some English jingles from other tourists... so they were shouting things like, "cheaper than asda!" at us and "BOG OFF.... By One Get One Free!"
