Our American Cousin is a Kansas City-bred band featuring the talents of four of the towns natives: Rick Robinett (guitar, keyboard, vocals), Kurtis Viers (guitar, vocals) and brothers Aaron (bass, vocals) and Adam Park (drums). Their debut EP, entitled How's This for a Diploma? was recorded with producer Joshua Browning at Black Lodge Studios in Eudora, Kansas over scattered days and nights in the snow and rain and volcanic magma. Conceived in January 2006, the album, released on October 3rd of '06, is a unique expansion of the heartlands sound. Reviews posted on Punknews.org, IRuleYouSuck.com & more...

After a hard fall and the dates in their pockets, the band took in to hybernation for the winter/spring. With a relocation halfway across the country and globe, gearing up for a fall '07 release/east coast tour. Unreleased recordings to be released via No Sleep Records on a number of compilations and samplers. Keep your eyes peeled! They will awake from their slumber and youll find yourself bleeding from the waiste & down your legs...

So far we've come up with some pretty decent stuff I think. It's awesome. Making my own music is fun enough, but when the music is developed with friends, it makes it that much better.
