I'm interested in my Heavenly Papa who has always loved me, my best friend my Lord Jesus, and my legal counsel, power and companion the Holy Spirit. Through knowing and abiding in them daily, everything has become seriously interesting for me!
Take more than a minute to consider Jesus, because he came so that dead people might be alive...yeah, like its supposed to be, Jesus THE LIFE inside of you. It's a dangerous universe without THE LIFE inside.
Ephesians 1:4 (AMP) Even as [in His love] He chose us [actually picked us out for Himself as His own] in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy (consecrated and set apart for Him) and blameless in His sight, even above reproach, before Him in love.
God's love for us is complete, no longer imputing sin to those who are included in Christ. In Christ we are brand new creations, born of the incorruptible seed of the Word of God (1 Peter 1:23), and sealed by the Holy Spirit. Under the constant washing of the Word of God, I am living the love Jesus has for me and my family, so I walk with Jesus! Hallejujah!
I am the proud father of Hanan Jimrai Barrett, my 8 year old son. He is the apple of my eye, and the Lord is using him to help me become a more complete person on several levels. Hanan has just began primary 3 (third grade) after the glories of second and first grade, two years of kindergarten, and a year of play-school. 5 years of school already...wow! Hanan is bold, and truly my favorite person on earth. I have been active in his primary education, participating in school activities with gusto. A while back, we performed a musical cooking show entitled "Fun with TrieCat" for Octoburst Children's day at the Esplanade in Singapore. We dressed up like cats, cooked food and played music. Hanan is a joyful child, and a joy to me.
I'm a musical late bloomer, still growing with no end in sight. Hallelujah! I love jazz, particularly bebop, but these days I am writing music in what I call a New World Jazz Gospel Style. I have studied musicians/composers like Billy Harper, John Coltrane, Wayne Shorter, Mingus, Bach, Michael Brecker, Joe Henderson, Ellington, Basie, Herbie Hancock, Hezekiah Walker, Stanley Turrentine and the list will continue. There are so many genres and style that it's overwhelming to list them. I like everything from Blue Grass to Jazz.
I don't like "HATE MUSIC", or "YOU OWE ME SOMETHING MUSIC", because it generally has no respect for God or people. I understand angst...but that's not my bag baby. Down with HATERS...God has given us all access by his grace (favor), to prosperity and righteousness in Jesus Christ.
I most enjoy meeting Papa and Jesus in the Spirit each day. I also want to meet Caleb, King David, Jonathan, Abraham, Nehemiah, King Solomon, Queen Vashti and Esther. I also want to meet Elijah, Paul the Apostle, Martin Luther King, Mahalia Jackson, Booker T Washington, Duke Ellington, John Coltrane, Scott Joplin, Andre Agassi, Christian athletes great and small, and more than these, people who abide in the Lord Jesus and have the hand of the God with them.
The Bible contains God's love story to mankind, and the loving legal redemption of mankind through the death and resurrection of Jesus the Christ. Mankind has been redeemed from death and separation from God, and the rebellious angelic being called Lucifer has lost his power on anyone who accepts Jesus' finished work at the cross. It's the greatest true story ever told for those who have an ear.
