Ookla the Mok is one of America's most popular nerd-rock bands. They're from Buffalo, New York, but they play at science fiction and comic book conventions all over North America. They wrote and performed the theme to Disney's Fillmore cartoon, they scored the feature film Bite Me, Fanboy, and their songs have been featured in the award-winning short films Lorem Ipsum and Because You Demanded It. Their song F. People spent six weeks at the top of Dr. Demento's Funny Five chart in 2005.
They are currently working on an album of children's songs called "Go to Bed!"

Gabrielle brought in the Oh, OK LA cd into school to play the "STS-107" to play for the social studies class, who was focusing on Chris Columbus. The teacher and all the kids thought it was a hoot.

Once upon a time there was this girl who decided to go see star wars episode 3 at the regal theaters on transit in buffalo..
She saw a woman with an Ookla the Mok shirt, and complemented it, after the women got over her shock that this girl knew who they were, she introduced this girl to Adam, who was conveniently standing behind her.
This little girl was overjoyed..
She then gained a few years and found Ookla on mysace
