Geez, I'm bad at naming things for this particular list... The Life Aquatic, Rushmore, Conan, Office Space, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, City of Lost Children, Earth, Horseman on the Roof, Queen Margot, The Shinning, the old Texas Chainsaw, ... and many many more. Hell, I'll even throw in The Last Unicorn and The Beastmaster.

Books
If you didn't read Lloyd Alexander's Prydain books when you were a kid, read them anyway: The Book of Three, The Black Cauldron, The Castle of Llyr, Taran Wanderer, The High King (and the short story collection; The Foundling) Other than that I'll read basically anything about Mythology or Legends, other fiction here or there, and occasionally I'll pick up something else. I also like comics like Hellboy, B.P.R.D., and Conan. Then there's that Japanese kind, I tend to like them: Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind, Peach Girl, 3x3 Eyes, Maison Ikkoku, Uresei Yatsura, Ranma 1/2, Red River, Vagabond, Blade of the Immortal, Kare Kano, Lone Wolf and Cub... On side note: I feel I must say that I find Inu-Yasha and Trigun so indescribably lame that, yes, they should be purged from the earth.
