Artists on Origo Sound has been compared to Jean Michel Jarre, Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream, The Orb, Brian Eno and other similar artists, but have their own unique styles developed with artistic integrity rather than commercial considerations in mind.
Most albums are in the ambient or ambient techno genres, always melodic or harmonic, and sometimes with an ethnic, meditative, or industrial touch.
Origo Sound was formed in 1990 and has released around 25 albums in the ambient and ambient techno genres, with the occasional adventure into ethnic electronica, folk, new age and industrial sounds.
Three albums are scheduled for a spring 2008 release, and we're currently branching out and expanding!

After the screening of Manuel's and Kinga Kielczynska's DVD "WROCLAW LIVE" the unique birthday concert will follow!
Live on stage beside Manuel: ELLIOTT SHARP, one of the most interesting personalities from New York's Downtown scene in Jazz, Rock and New Music. WHITE, the No 1 Band from China, discovered by Sonic Youth for the Oxident and produced by Blixa Bargeld. Further, New York's Deep House legend JOE CLAUSSELL, with whom Manuel did the album "Joaquin Joe Claussell meets Manuel Göttsching": 70ies meet the 21th century, as Claussell works with Manuel's tracks from the long sold out "PRIVATE TAPES". Only "Shuttlecock", the original version of this song, not the known one from "BLACKOUTS", Joe leaves untouched because more and more this title is considered classic as Manuel's "E2-E4" is.
