| About Opposite Box |
Born in the South and raised on a steady diet of rock, metal and punk, Opposite Box has long been considered one of Chattanooga, Tennessee's most determined and aggressive up-and-comers. Priming its sound with thrash metal and punk influences, such as Megadeth, NOFX and Pantera and then adding a coat of alternative ideas similar to the stylings of bands such as Incubus, Faith No More and System of a Down, Opposite Box blends Funk, Jazz and Blues with Hard Rock and Punk to create a sound that seems familiar enough, but is still completely unique. Since its inception the band's trademark has been the energy portrayed on - and off - stage during live shows. For a full band bio, read the blog entry titled "Press Pack."
