Old Dog & the New Tricks plays a gamut of classic blues: Chicago, Mississippi, Memphis, Texas, and the West Cosast scene (and maybe something a little English too). Blues that rocks, blues that swings, funky blues, in the alley blues, all the blues, just the blues. Like a true blues band of the Robert Johnson Blues at the Crossroads lineage, the band played it first gig on Friday the 13th of the 7th month of the 7th year of the new milenium. We cook with music that is bluesy, fun, and definitely danceable. We play tunes by the blues masters BB King, John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters, RL Burnside, Junior Wells and Howlin' Wolf.
