OFF THE RECORD is an emerging music company devoted to providing unsigned bands and artists the services they need to survive and thrive independently in an ever-evolving entertainment industry. Our company is comprised of young musicians, artists, producers, marketers, and go-getters who want to catalyze the revolution that is taking power away from the record labels and giving it to the artists. OFF THE RECORD is an artist's one-stop-shop, with a focus on quality, affordability, client satisfaction, and empowerment of the INDEPENDENT artist. Services include recording, graphic design, promotion, concert & event planning, booking, merchandise production, networking, and any other service designed to tailor to the needs of any ambitious artist. OFF THE RECORD also hopes to build enough industry hype in the coming year to be the first private investment company for independent musicians nation-wide.
OFF THE RECORD -PRESENTS- is where we unveil to the world our idea of a great party. OFF THE RECORD locks out NYC's hottest venues to provide music, fashion, art, and media lovers with out-of-this-world music and entertainment experiences... and to show what amazing things can happen when independent bands and mixed-genre artists join forces.

TIFFANY QUIST
Tiffany Quist is a Singer/Songwriter based in New York City. Raised in Massachusetts, she’s been singing & performing her entire life. Quist attended Syracuse University and graduated with a BFA in Music &Theater. Headlining a wide variety of main-stage musicals, she began to explore the expansive potential of her true musical expression. From her experiences there, she knew her blood pumped Rock and Roll.
Upon moving to NYC days after graduation, she has been performing, creating music and inspiring others on their road to success. By day, she's the Administrative Director of Cari Cole Voice & Music Company, developing new artists under the mentorship of Founder & Director Cari Cole.
She recently recorded her first original tunes with guitarist / producer Jeff McErlain and plans to put out an EP this fall. She is currently working with a variety of musician and producers to create new and cutting edge music. Exploring some kind of rock / blues/country fusion....
She is committed to bringing her energy and truth to world. Something Quist whole heartedly believes; “the world isn’t what we see and god gives power & creativity to all who seek it”. But in the end, she just wants to Rock with You.
An ecletic mix of pop, rock, soul, and rhythm, Ande owns the stage with her powerful vocals and creative edge. Born and raised in Indiana, Ande moved to New York after graduating high-school. Now, at 22, Ande continues to reside in New York to pursue music. She can be seen in various venues around town such as "The Underscore", "Bar 169", "Crash Mansion", and "Pianos".
Kari Spieler has always written her music in a true-to-herself kind of way. Somewhere between passionate vocals, meaningful lyrics, and beautiful melodies, is a picture of a girl just trying to make it. After playing the Poughkeepsie area coffeehouse circuit, Kari was fortunate enough to play with a variety of talented artists. Some of them include Sonya Kitchell, Bayside, The Black Maria, and Owen. "There is something that hits you in the gut when you watch her perform live." Says a good friend of Kari's, "I don't know. Its truly an indescribable feeling when she opens her mouth." As Kari continues to write and perform, she works on her techniques with Sloan Wainwright (a singer-songwritter and someone Kari looks up to.) It seems the word is getting loose about this young singer-songwriter as people like Mike Doughty have left comments like " Dig your smokey voice" on her myspace. Kari Spieler loves what shes doing now and cannot wait to move forward. Keep an ear open for what comes next.
Jay Stolar is a songwriter. He likes to write songs. He has not performed on his own since 2001 and is looking forward to embracing awkward silences, cracking smiles and making people want to go to find someone to love. Jay’s full time job is singing for a band called Julius C. ...Beware that the music of Julius C sounds nothing like the music of Jay Stolar.
Jeremiah Glazer has been playing guitar for over 10 years in various rock and indie bands. His first band, Random Task, was one of the pioneer groups of the screemo movement, a genre that can now be heard across the nation and internet. Members of the band went on to play in other groups, including Steel Train and Armor for Sleep. While studying for a degree in Sociology his musical tastes changing dramatically. He began writing on his own and amassed a substantial collection of original acoustic folk/pop songs in the vein of Neil Young, Oasis, and Wilco. His live shows are few and far between, so if you get the chance to see him, you will be one of a lucky few. At these shows, he plays both originals and covers with a strong melodic sensibility. Jeremiah recently recorded a few of his songs and posted them on MySpace for public consumption. If you enjoy concise pop tunes and stripped down folk rock with acoustic guitar and harmonica, make sure to check him out.

A wild and edgy theatre piece of songs, scenes and monologues portraying the absurdity of our world and the scandalous and outrageously stupid behavior of the people who inhabit it, Political Subversities from the award-winning composer and director Elizabeth Swados is both hilarious and hard-hitting. The cast of extraordinary brand new writing and acting talents brings a unique perspective mixing with Swados' years of trouble-making and experience.
