History - ACT I
“Sipario” project was born as “concept” of the two founders Daniele Tari (keyboards) and Armando De Angelis (guitars) many years before their meeting.
Both wished for a music that could be told, performed, represented as well as listened to.
Love and joy, anger and pain, life and death painted by music and shown to the public as a real drama.
In May 2007, after several experiences with people who didn’t share their vision of making music, Daniele and Armando realized that their musical desires were the same and started seeking other musicians.
The core of Sipario was born!!
Few months later, they found in Francesco Ronza (bass) and Alessio Laratta (vocals – tenor), the other members of today’s line up.
It was September 2007 and in October they were already recording.
Today - ACT II
The band "Sipario" becomes a project by Daniele Tari, Alessio Laratta, Francesco Ronza with many other guest musicians. The result is the concept :"Scenes from Oblivon", 7 songs from the future full-lenght based on the story "Oblivion" from "Primavera di Aithea" written by Daniele Tari.
The album will be soon available.

The band is now working with the new drummer, Domenico D'Argenzio, powerfull and skilled, and Maria Massa, opera vocals, musical actress (Odissea) and great singer!
NEW !! : July, 24th : Riccardo Lostumbo , guitarist and skilled musician joined the band!!
Another man will be presented next September!

Il teatro era la loro passione, la musica la loro arte : Sipario
Storia - ATTO I
I Sipario nascono come idea nella mente dei due fondatori Daniele Tari (tastiere) e
Armando De Angelis (chitarra), anni
prima che i due si conoscessero: entrambi, infatti, avevano
in mente di creare della musica che si potesse narrare,
interpretare, rappresentare, oltre che ascoltare. Una musica
che parlasse di volta in volta di amore, rabbia, dolore, morte e
gioia, e che trasportasse tutto ciò dagli strumenti ai sensi e
al cuore dell'ascoltatore.
Così i due componevano da soli, mentre vivevano esperienze
con altre persone che non condividevano la loro "visione"
del fare musica. Quando la band di Armando si sciolse, egli decise
che era arrivato il momento di cercare qualcuno con cui realizzare
i progetti che aveva in mente nella forma che più gli piaceva: il
power metal ; così mise un annuncio su internet.
Daniele suonava in un gruppo AOR che aveva da poco perso il chitarrista,
e visto l'annuncio, contattò Armando: era il dicembre del 2006, e i due
continuarono a suonare insieme in quel gruppo fin quando, nel maggio
2007, decisero che i loro desideri musicali erano gli stessi e che valeva
la pena cominciare a cercare altri musicisti che apprezzassero il loro genere
e la loro idea.
Era nato il nucleo centrale dei Sipario, e nel giro di pochi mesi,
mentre si scambiavano idee, canzoni, aspirazioni, i due trovarono in Francesco
Ronza (basso), e in Alessio Laratta (voce - tenore) i restanti membri della line up odierna.
Era il Settembre del 2007 e ad Ottobre si cominciava già a registrare.
Oggi - ATTO II
I "Sipario" diventano un progetto di Daniele Tari, Alessio Laratta, Francesco Ronza con la partecipazione di molti ospiti come musicisti sia nei lavori in studio che nei futuri live della band. Il risultato odierno è il concept :"Scenes from Oblivon", 7 canzoni dal futuro full-lenght ispirato alla storia "Oblivion" da "Primavera di Aithea" scritta da Daniele Tari.
L'album sarà presto disponibile.

In più : la band è al lavoro con il nuovo batterista, Domenico D'Argenzio, potente ed estremamente tecnico; e con Maria Massa, voce lirica, grande interprete e attrice di musical : NON MANCATE ALLA PRIMA NAZIONALE del suo musical "Odissea" - Templi di Paestum, 19 Luglio 2008!!
Ultim'ora!! 24 Luglio: Riccardo Lostumbo, chitarrista e compositore entra a far parte della band!
