Hiya.. I'm Colin AKA DJ Raven (on KBGA College Radio/Dark Dreams clubnights) AKA Raven Digitalis (pen-name/alias), the author of spiritual books (see above). I've lived here in Missoula, MT all my life and may eventually move in the nearish future (or else just doing a lot of traveling/book-touring), and plan to open a metaphysical/magick shoppe with my Priestess Estha! We may end up opening the shoppe in Missoula in the future; we're not sure what is to come of it. It'll Be as it's meant to Be. There are many factors. In addition to this pursuit, I am also a writer and hope to keep doing that for the rest of my life ^___^
I'm a Witch and fourth-year Neopagan Priest who also follows a Buddhist belief system in many regards. I'm also drawn to Esoteric Qabalah, Thelema, Chaos Magick, and shamanic systems, and have been trained in Traditional Georgian Wicca (by Zanoni Silverknife), which I'm very proud of =) I also read Tarot cards (in person or over the phone), perform public Open Circles (Sabbats) to celebrate ancient and modern solar holidays, and perform Esbats (full moon circles) with my Coven (OAO), with my support unit (Ajna), and the local Outer Court community (so much love!).

Because of my lifestyle as a Witch, Priest, and Empath, I have dedicated the whole of my Being to unlocking doors of Awareness, that is, self-awareness and the awareness of life and existence. Our time here is short and there are infinite Keys along the way. My life is a pursuit of understanding reality, the cycles of nature and our attunement to it as humans incarnated in this instant of time! Knowledge is my goal, Wisdom is my Will. Love and empathy in its many forms are the most important things to me, and happiness is essential for operating in this world.
I also have a degree in Anthropology (U of Montana) and am a DJ on the radio and in clubs and at parties. Let's see, what else.. I'm very VEGETARIAN and work for animal rights. Animals are sacred creatures not meant to be packaged, pumped full of hormones or locked in cages in torturous conditions their whole life (please note I'm not talking about hunting, but mass factory farming; a very horrific and torturous industry indeed) I love communicating with other Vegetarians and Vegans (those who may not know how those 'farms' operate, who are willing to learn) and feel that a person cannot live up to their full metaphysical potential while being apathetic to the welfare of our animal allies.
I'm an artist of sorts and am interested in Dark art; specifically black and white photography. ^_^
Not sure what else to say! I have a Leo Sun, Pisces Moon, Scorpio Rising (Ascendant). I'm also a strong Empath; something that will take all life to hone. I'm a nice guy, I promise. FUR IS DEAD BOYCOTT TORTURE AND ANIMAL CRUELTY! AWAKEN! LOVE THE EARTH & ITS CREATURES! RESEARCH THE HORRORS OF FACTORY FARMING! Brief commentary; a response to someone's inquiry: As for the fur thing, nope I don't disagree with hunting and don't disagree with using every part of the animal that is hunted in the wild--the fur/hide tanning included! The thing i do NOT agree with in any way is the *modern* fur trade, that is, when animals are caged and raised ONLY for their fur. Mink farms, fox farms, racoon farms, cat and dog farms in China, etc etc. It's so evil. It's entirely different from the animal having actually lived a life in the wild. In this case, they live their ENTIRE lives in little cages where they can hardly turn around. What a torturous, cruel existence. Know what I mean? There's nothing natural about it! It's simply horrific cruelty for the sake of money--that's it! When people feel 'glamourous' wearing a chinchilla jacket that has 100 chinchilla skins on it, it makes me fucking cry; no animal deserves to die for someone's fashion. If it was necessity, it's an entirely different issue--like the indigenous Eskimos and Natives; that is, back when humans were more in tune with the natural cycles and gave respect for the animals they hunted. The modern fur industry is an evil empire thriving on the death of innocents.
Who I'd like to meet: Anyone who is REAL: True to themselves and everyone else. No excessive pretentiousness, superficiality, ulterior motives or hidden agendas. Facades are for the fearful. PS, I'm not into collecting friends for no reason.. don't be a chode.
