Nuh Uh is a band from New York City. Conrad Doucette and Damion Jurrens started Nuh Uh in October of 2005 because they were bored. Conrad (drums) had played with local indie strummers Siwat for a while, and Damion (guitar/vocals) had just finished a 3-year run with the Vowels. In other words, they should have
known better than to start another band.
For some unexplained reason, they thought it might be a good idea to mix progressive rock with indie rock. So they dusted off their Rush records, and put them into a big crock pot with a few old
Dinosaur Jr. albums and whatever Pitchfork thought was cool at the moment. It was a mess, and the crock pot was destroyed.
They wrote four songs that were at least 8 minutes apiece and decided that was enough.
Damion's brother Grady moved to New York in 2007 and joined Nuh Uh. Additionally, the three play shorter songs in Takka Takka, but that's another story.

Hotbed Media is producing a new film about a mid life crisis, a burned out porn star, and OLD PEOPLE! We're doing this whole film-making thing a little differently. We're actually opening up our whole production to the public. You can check out our super awesome film-making blog at: http://sponsorvalley.blogspot.com/. When we screw up, you'll be able to read about it. When people on set hook up, we'll be the first to write about it. When big, huge, world shattering events happen, we'll first compare our film to that event and then will make fun of the event. What other original things are we doing? Well, we thought about financing the film the normal Hollywood way, but we decided that was just too much work. Instead, we're selling pixels of advertising on our website. I know, you've never heard of this sort of democratic film financing before. You've also never heard of anyone selling pixels before to just make money. Good, we haven't heard of that either. Since you've never heard of anything like this before: when you buy a pixel, you'll be able to upload your logo, image, or link (it's up to you) to our well maintained site. As more and more people find out about the film, hopefully, the whole thing will spiral out of control. Your site will be inundated with web traffic. Companies with similar domain names with get upset. People will cry; you will laugh!
Become a little more high profile, and help out a film that isn't afraid of jokes that marginalize the elderly!
