No Lay joined a group called Unorthodox….. With MC’s G.kid and Silva
Having traveled from region to region and seen what various places had to offer in terms of artist advancement her music and career brought her to Ben Parmar A&R for Polydor, brought No Lay for a meeting with Bigga B at Their Joint Record Label ‘Thin Line’ Bigga immediately starting working with No Lay and she then met G.Kid and Silva and the ‘no help no handouts’ single was recorded. The rest is history!!
No Lay is now widely quoted as the best UK female MC in the Grime scene, but people forget she can MC on Hip-Hop and it sounds just as powerful, with these skills No Lay is due to realise her dream to become an established long term international Artist, She is the first UK female with the ability to get accepted for her lyrical ability across the waters in the USA, watch this space !!
