Hey Joe, belated Birthday wishes! Hope you had a good one. Feel any wiser at the ripe 'ol age of 24? I'll probably be passing through the Gilp next week, so I'll send you a text the day before or something...

Peter: It's already done. I dropped them all off at Toys for Toddlers last night.
Brian: All? Peter, only only one gift was for charity, the rest were for the family.
Peter: No, the rest were from the family. Weren't they? (Pauses.) Oh crap...since when did they change the meaning of "for" to "from"?
Brian: They had a meeting about it last night.
Peter: Why wasn't I told?
Brian: They sent you a card, but it said "for Peter" on it so you must of thought it was from you, so you didn't...you know, its just easier to call you stupid.

I'm just going with my mum as she's moving there for her new job, but I'll be staying with some family. Man, it'll be good to get away from this sorry excuse for a summer we're having! I have to admit though, I'm not too confident about the whole speaking french part...if murdering languages was a crime I think I'd hang from the gallows.

Ah, back in the mighty Gilp, eh? Still writing? Any new developments on that front? Well, I've been dodging work for a little too long now, so I decided to find me a job. It's nothing much, just Kitchen Porter-ing, but I need the money. Off to France in a couple of weeks you see.

Howdy Joe! Yep, I'd heard you left the Dee (you lucky bastard, you!). Anyway, life here is mundane as usual - nothing too interesting to report. So, what's Joe doing in Glasgow, eh? ...well, when he's not binging on confections?

Blood Gnome is the deep and meaningful modern parable of a tiny invisible vampire dwarf that is kept in a box under a dominatrix's bed. The film explores why it is wrong to confine a dangerous animal for your pleasure as it is invisible and you cannot tell when it is gone. It wanders around in the shadows watching her friends perform sexual acts before whipping past and biting them on the legs. Marvellous. Knock off still wins it by a hair though.
