| About No Exit |
|
No Exit coalesced in Atlanta's burgeoning new wave scene in 1978 and promptly played legendary local clubs the Agora Ballroom and 688. Unleashing their unique and powerful version of pop punk in the vein of other Atlanta bands The Fans and The Brains, No Exit recorded these two songs for the Atlanta new wave compilation LP Standardeviation. Sadly these were all the recordings that were released and by 1982 the various members had gone their separate ways to play in other influential bands from the Atlanta area. However, vocalist/guitarist Stephen Charles Hardy kept recording under the name No Exit well into the late 80's, releasing a 4 song cassette of Roxy Music inspired original tunes (two of which appear in the player above) in 1988 on 93 Records.
