Nine PM Traffic is a three-piece rock band from Chapel Hill. Erik Turnblom (Bass/Vox), Nick Burns (Gtr, Drums, BGV) and Chad Hines (Drums, Gtr, BGV) bring together their many influences to create a funk-infused rock sound that is both aggressive yet catchy. They have played all over Chapel Hill, Raleigh, and Charlotte (including shows at Cat's Cradle, Local 506, Memorial Hall, The Brewery, Fall Fest, The Cave, Top of the Hill, W.B. Yeats, and more). Right now they are in the process of writing their second album, with the recording process set to start in December 2007. In the meantime, check out the songs on the site.
Sad news, guys, ...but I wish each of you the best! In celebration of your songwriting and performance, i've posted one of your songs on my page for the day. (Actually, it's been up since yesterday, about 10 minutes after your blog appeared. -Sounds pretty nice on my page!)
I'll have to send you guys all the pictures Meredith took on my camera of your show. Some of them turned out pretty cool, and others are artsy enough you might like them.

Thanks, guys, for the friend request. I rarely add groups who I haven't seen perform at least a couple of times, ...but I'm making an exception here. -Good music, for sure! I'm hoping to catch one of your shows coming up, and looking forward to meeting you!
