After delving into the depths with underground Hardcore for 4 years, and then with the brand new emergence of the Jungle/Drum & Bass scene, Daniel set about learning experimenting, and mastering this at the time, newly developed sound. As Drum & Bass evolved phenomenally over the past 16+ years with so many different sub-genres within the music itself – NexGen Music has slotted nicely into the musical, soulful & experimentally-progressive side of the scene - as well as branching out into various other music genres: DOWN-TEMPO, CHILL-OUT, HOUSE, ELECTRONICA, EXPERIMENTAL & POP to name a few.... NexGen Music extended it's operations and set up in Brooklyn, NYC and Dire moved back to New York in the summer of 2004 to contribute & influence the US ELECTRONIC MUSIC scene and look for new fresh artists to promote.
