About me: More than just a catchy phrase, it’s our mission. New Holland Brewing Company strives to enhance the quality of life within our community through dedication
to the Art of brewing and promotion of craft beer. Established in 1996, NHBC has grown from a scrappy two-man start-up, to a thriving regional microbrewery, recognized for its creativity and artistry. We are very proud
of our accomplishments thus far, and believe in earning our place in the brewing industry and in our customer’s hearts and minds everyday. In 2005, with the help of our pub customers, our wholesalers and our retailers, we brewed and shipped just over 5,000 barrels of beer. A barrel equals 31 gallons, so that quantity could also be estimated as 68,900 cases or 1,240,000 pints! Any way you look at it, that’s a lot more beer than we brewed in 1997! Our beer is brewed in Holland, Michigan at one of our two locations. Our original building at 205 Fairbanks is the main production facility. We brew, cellar and package over 12 beers for distribution utilizing our 25-barrel Sprinkman brewhouse and our 24 head Cortellazzi filler. Down the street at 66 E. 8th St., we welcome the beer savvy public to our pub. Located in the renovated building that had local fame as the Vogelzang hardware store, the pub is spacious and inviting. We brew specialty beers here on a seven barrel copper brewing
system and are expecting to fire up our micro-distillery within 2005. The pub is a great place for us to explore new ideas, meet our customers in a comfortable setting and provide a place of community for all that visit. Open Monday thru Saturday, we feature home-made pizzas, sandwiches and other tasty sundries.
We have lots of exciting ideas for 2005 and beyond. Our strong team of extremely creative people works hard to bring you an interesting and gratifying experience every time you reach for a New Holland Brew. We are proud to share our art and our craft with you. We hope that you enjoy it as much as we do.
Cheers,
New Holland Brewing Company
