Christian Metal may seem to be an oxymoron to some, but in truth it differs from secular Metal only in message. The brutal sounds of shredding guitars, turbo kick drums and the shrieks and growls that we all love oh so much are all still there. They both speak of the ills and inequalities of this corrupt and morally bankrupt world we live in. The difference is that Christian Metal gives an answer and a hope in Christ, compared to the self absorbed nihilistic hatred that tends to permeate secular Metal.
NCMR is a small nonprofit independent internet radio station that is dedicated to presenting a Christian alternative to secular Metal and Hardcore. It is not affiliated with and does not broadcast on any traditional land based radio stations. It broadcasts solely over the internet. It is commercial and announcer free. And for the most part baring technical difficulties and systems updates/upgrades broadcasts 24/7/365.

I will be "friends" with any person regardless of their beliefs. If you like the music, cool. But as far as bands are concerned,
I will only accept friends requests from Christian bands. I want to show people that there is an alternative to secular music, not support it. If it doesn't glorify God I have no use for it. Even from a worldly prospective It wouldn't make much sense to have bands on my friends list that go against my format. Would you expect to see a bunch of Rappers on the friends list of a country music station, no.
Note to Christian Bands: I can't read your minds. If your profile doesn't say anything about your faith, I will assume that you are a secular band and you will be denied. Read my blog
