Twelve-year-old vocalist/songwriter/actress/model Neenah Taylor is making heads turn with her awesome talents. This sweet and talented young lady has been turning heads since she was 7. But now 12, the heads that are turning are entertainment industry executives who have felt confident enough to place her as an opening act for major artists, in television and print advertising, and in feature and industry films.
Though talented in all those areas, what stands out most is her unbelievable powerful vocals. Neenah Taylor has performed as opening act for such artists as Trey Songz at the 2006 Hip-Hop Summit, and Angela Bofill and Angie Stone at African-American Heritage Festival. Her performances were even honored with a citation from the mayor of her hometown Baltimore.
Neenah has won numerous competitions such as the Atlantic Records Showcase Competition and the national Uplifting Minds II Entertainment Conference’s talent competition showcase. As a result she has been interviewed on WJZ, WBAL and Fox 45 television stations. She has even belted-out her vocals at the International Festival where she opened the event singing the “National Anthem” and “God Bless America”.
Young Neenah, has appeared on a long list of advertisings for such companies as Toy’s R Us, Daimler Chrysler, Apple Computer and CarMax. She has appeared in industry films for such companies as Kaiser Permanente and American Red Cross.
Neenah’s pretty face has graced the covers of Style Magazine and the Prince William Parent Magazine. She is also on print items for Freddie Mac, The Baltimore Aquarium and Pampers. This busy young lady has also performed on Royal Caribbean Cruise and been a featured performer of the Baltimore Believe Mobile Tour.
Neenah is currently back and forth between Baltimore and Los Angeles filming the feature film Sister Switch and in the studio working on her debut album.
