Nate Christy is a music entrepreneur, producer, engineer composer and performer.
He has been running his company, Nate Christy Music, for over ten years. Nate produces with four-time Grammy-nominated musician and producer, Larry Dvoskin, whose songs have sold more than 27 million copies worldwide.
As a performer Nate played Bass for NBC’s “The Voice” Artist Casey Desmond touring the entire United States. Some of their dates included nationally popular festivals such as the SXSW festival, the NACA Music Showcase Conference, The Dewey Beach Music Festival, and an opening spot for American Idol winner, David Cook where they played in front of an audience of 15,000 people.
Nate is a firm believer in supporting independent artists and helping to expand careers and the local indie scene. Through one of is former companies, Karmic Music, he helped to facilitate musicians with a full-service independent production company. The company supported local and national musicians with services that include a&r consultation, recording, mixing and mastering, as well as producing live shows.
Currently, Nate focuses on the career development of a selective group of clients. His brand has become very specific, Nates team are a collection of boutique professionals and he strives to implement his craft and create individual marketing campaigns for the clients he works with. Nate believes his success is determined by the success of those he is surrounded by.
Producer-
Nate has worked with many artists with genres ranging from singer-songwriters to hip-hop. Already having major label acts in his portfolio including “The Beach Boys” Al Jardine, Carson Kressley and Space Hog (famous for the song “In the Meantime”) Co-producing with multiple-time Grammy nominee Larry Dvoskin, as both a songwriter and engineer, Nate has been able to provide his wealth of experience to fulfill all of their client’s requirements.
Mixer-
After working as a sound engineer and training through Berklee College of Music, Nate has been able to provide mixes for customers that many others have not been able to achieve. With credits such as The Beach Boys and Carson Kressley and Space Hog Nate’s mixing discography
is sure to
be one ever-growing. Because of Nate’s capabilities to use numerous studios, equipment, and sounds, the diversity of Nate’s mixes seem to be comparable to having hundreds of producers all in one.
Engineer-
Armed with his knowledge of engineering from Berklee College of Music, and with the multiple major studios of Boston and New York at his disposal, Nate has taken the term 'engineer' to new heights. Whether the sound is as warm as analog jazz,
or as hot as electronic radio hits, Nate has not only been able to successfully provide what the client desires, but to consistently surpass it.
