Nao Watanabe is a rich, expressive vocalist with a dramatic flair. She was introduced to the Japanese artistic community by renowned actor Masayuki Yui who invited the aspiring musician to perform at one his coveted New Year’s Eve parties. Nao found herself performing for an enthusiastic audience of A-list filmmakers, actors, producers and artists. Since then, her star has been on the rise throughout her native Japan.

Nao started her live activities when she became 18 years old. Her poems which ecpress everyday lives with her precise Japanese and realistic expression stopped people walking by. Her song "Invoice" had readched top 10 in the Independent Chart of a cable broadcasting. Her poem of uncommon experience also fascinated people with the words from her strength and honesty.
In the summer at 23 years old, she recorded her new album in Los Angeles. The place where once she longed for and once she gave up on. "Music had overcome the walls of languages and nations." Singing her poems from her past on the tunes which was effected by her new dreams and hopes, Nao's turning point of her life had been embodied in this album.

Year 2005 Infinite turning point
One day, the name "Kitaro" jumped into Nao's eyes when she was watching the video tape of Grammy Awards. There is a wonderful Japanese artist who is active in the world...music that can move people's hearts all over the world...soon she started to listen to his music and Kitaro became one of the artists she admires.
January, 2005, Nao peerformed at the live house in Tokyo and she met a man who happened to be the owner of the agent and the label of Kitaro. She felt that it must be "her destiny" and she agreed willingly to the offer.
Summer in the year of 2005, after her transfer to the new agent, she completed her new album in L.A.
The Heavens, The Earth and Myself
Learning classic piano until mid-teens, and raised in the blessed family, Nao was just an another girl. But her desire was always toward overseas. "Overseas, but why?...Maybe I can find it when I can find it when I go abroad to study." Of course I will go abroad to study! Without any doubt, she worked really hard instead of studying for an entrance exam for a high school. But suddenly, she came to her turning point...her father's business had reached a dead end...she was not even sure whether she sould go to a high school or not...she was force to see her days go by...Never imagined it could happen to her. Finally she gave up her dream and decided to take a means of supporting herself. She started to keep a diary, writing her emotions and findings from facing the reality and conflicts.
