Not sure yet. This weekend is proving to be difficult. If we can't make it to this one, we'll have a crew at the next. Thanks for your work towards elevating the Barista skills in the region!
We definitely need to head south and join up with our MW barista peeps (especially since we missed MWRs)... the calendar is marked and we'll see what we can do!!!
Dave Hermann is using an Aged Sumatra as a single origin shot in his signature drink at MWRBC. Its got a crazy winey flavor, very, very, sweet.
I recently had a Sumatra Mandheling as a single origin. Wasn't too bad. Definitely very smooth body but had a heightened pungeancy that wasn't real desirable.
Dammit, I was trying to put a photo of a McCafe cup on here with a nice little knife I drew going threw it, but then my computer did something and that happened...
I agree the the nathan, the espresso blends session sounds really neat, i've wanted to try my own at home, but i don't know what i should blend. also, i cannot wait to see the other sessions will be, i hope there'll be some cupping :)
i was wondering how much it might be for the plane ticket to get there from washington dc to kansas city(where your localed)
