how bad do you want a mutagen show?
hell, i'd kill for that! mui bad, man! pretty bad, yeah.. don't give a f**k. i'd rather not.. die, assholes!!!!
Not many moons ago, Nir and Lior were jamming together in an unstable garage band. The band was short lasted, and disbanded before even making it to the first show.
Not too shaken by the bad experience, Nir and Lior decided to stick together, and hand-in-hand continue to create music. Lior said they should stick to the Nu-Metal genre, and Nir was like "Yeah, whatever...".
The two decided to retain the majestic name - MUTAGEN
Finding musicians for the band proved to be tough for poor old Nir and Lior.
Meanwhile, instead of being bored, each of them found musical side projects in late 2006: Nir is playing drums for Serendipity and Lior is playing bass for ELIMINATION* (be sure to check both band’s shows too!).
Lior and Nitsan met in school. Though they don’t remember when, they became friends pretty quick.
One day like any other day, Nitsan invited Lior to hear his band Ahad Ha’am* playing a show. Lior was very impressed by Nitsan’s skills that night, and invited him to audition for MUTAGEN.
Needless to say, Nitsan made it into the band.
The band still needed a bass player, so Nir suggested they’ll try out their friend Tal, an addition that proved itself successful.
Their first show at the "Yotzrim Yotzaim" contest was a hit! The crowd went wild and MUTAGEN took third place!
Only two months afterwards, Tal wanted to depart the band, and so he did.
Tal’s position was soon filled by Or, that was impressed by the band’s performance at "Yotzrim Yotzaim", and was interested in the band ever since.
The four clicked and every time they performed together was a blast!
The band is a part of the BEAT club’s ’youth bands projects’, where they rehearse, and probably, will record.
Only time will tell if that is just the begining for MUTAGEN
