As a new artist trying to create his or her position in the industry the desire to want success must play a major role in such a hard task. As the industry witness many artists come and go everyday, it shows that this business is more than just having a talent to sing, dance, write, and produce. Mr. Glenn a new upcoming R&B artist believes that having the talent is one thing but having the love for your talent is another. With his soulful and sensual sound and very humble personality along with a voice that the ladies adore, Mr. Glenn has more then enough to give to the industry then just music.
As the second child of three, Mr. Glenn was born and raised in Daytona Beach, Florida. Being raised in Pine Haven Housing Projects by his mother, father and step-father he learned a lot about hard work and determination. Mr. Glenn found a love for singing and entertaining as an escape from all the negativity that surrounded him growing up in the projects. Starting at an early age he would entertain his family and friends by break-dancing and singing. The attention that was given to him by his audience excited him in such a way that he would find a way to be part of anything in the community that involved entertaining others. Being raised in a very religious family, Mr. Glenn developed and still to this day maintains a strong love of our Lord. After years of singing in the church choir Mr. Glenn developed a voice and style of singing that the music industry has lost or forgotten about. While developing his strong vocal abilities he also found his talent and ability to write his own lyrics.
As a teenager and young adult Mr. Glenn was part of the group known as B-Sharp. Together B-Sharp opened up for Brian McKnight, Adina Howard, Shai, and Coolio. As time went on Mr. Glenn felt that it was time to step out on his own as a soloist.
Mr. Glenn is currently working on his yet to be titled first album. This album is going to bring R&B back to the way it was with a little bit of todays appeal to it. He states that R&B has lost the romance and respect for love and he is making it his goal to bring that romance and love back to R&B. His music has been compared to the likes of the great Barry White, Gerald Levert, and Teddy Pendergrass. Mr. Glenns outlook on life is as long as he puts God first in all that he does, he does he will succeed in all that he does.
