About me:
Hello... You are at the MOR! friend site... Thanks for coming. I'm Nathan Limbaugh. These are the first musical offerings - two very cool KTB songs and an lp length Red Oak Conspiracy. The Karma To Burn songs were recorded a month before the band signed with Roadrunner Records. The lineup : Jim Davison-vocals, Will Mecum-guitar, Rich Mullins-bass, Nathan Limbaugh-drums. It was a Kentucky dry town; Jim's peril was imminent. Upon return to the wild and wonderful, Jim left. These KTB recordings were found in the rubble and are representative of a union that went south. Found looking... from the mountains to the desert; the recordings with John Garcia are still out there... between cactus and rattlesnakes. The Joy Division song is still in recovery...
Red Oak Conspiracy is pre-KTB.
The lineup: Curtis Duhn-vocals, Will Mecum-guitar, Orville Weale-bass, Nathan Limbaugh-drums. Rock/Experimental/Rock. Red Oak was intense, with band practice 5 days a week from 11pm to 4am. Red Oak did a wacky coast to coast tour with Rob Oswald's band Jade. At this time, Rich and Jim were playing in a band called Dancing Linda, relocating to Morgantown didn't really ease their drama. Those Dancing Linda recordings may have gone to dust because we've been sifting for years.
