A band that spans a spectrum of influences that range from Led Zeppelin to The Foo Fighters to Stevie Ray Vaughn, Motorflower is a deliberate hard playing four piece combo with pop sensibility. All four members - Nathan Jay Moody (Guitars, lead vocals), John Paul (Bass guitar), Steven Fulton (Guitars, Mandolin, keys, backing vocals), and Stephen Hall (Drums, backing vocals) are hard laboring workers by day and volume abusing musicians by night. When day gigs are required, the last sentence still applies.
The two Steves have known and played together for a long time opening for such acts as the Smithereens, Los Lobos, Widespread Panic and the Beat Farmers to name a few. Steve Fulton has opened as a solo act for Tori Amos and the Wallflowers just by himself and his acoustic guitar. Besides the half dozen albums they recorded with each other, both have completed various projects outside of their collaboration over the years. While John Paul has been with the band for over a decade, Nathan Jay Moody is the band’s newest addition, (September, 2007).
All members are active in the creative process of Motorflower. Motorflower may just be primarily guitars, bass, and drums, but they are more than proficient on other instruments as well. For instance, Steven Fulton, (acoustic and electric guitars, mandolin, piano, wurlitzer, Hammond B3 organ). Stephen Hall, (Guitar)... Did we already say he plays drums?

Hi guys. Imagine if you would, a musician that has lost the steadiness and control of his hands. My partner Vic from Hookstrumm knows this feeling too well. He was diagnosed with Young Onset Parkinson's at the age of 36. Despite this challenge, we have just launched our first CD - With or Without You at CDBaby. com. By supporting Hookstrumm you not only support the independent artist but a portion of your money goes into research and treatments for Parkinson's. To learn more, click on our CD Baby banner and click on the Team Fox link at the bottom of the page. Thanks.
Well, we're currently in a contest to potentially win $25,000 which we are hoping to win, and we're going into the studio in October. That's about it though.
Best of luck to you though, let us know when you hit H Town.
