Heroes
Heroes are my Grapa Van Loon. He was so cool. He was in WWII, was a pastor, an awesome husband, and the best Grapa. Also Rich Mullins he was a crazy man in pursuit of Jesus. Scott Jennex my youth pastor and mentor.
Name is Tim and working with Metrobrook Church in Milwuakee to start a new church in the Bay View neighborhood of Milwaukee in 2008. I have been married to my awesome wife Vicky for 8 years. I am a proud new papa, grew up near Detroit Rock City and now am on the other side of Lake Michigan in Brew Town, have a nutty little dog named cooper (Named after Alice not the car), am a massive University of Michigan Football fan, wish I still had my first car a 74 Impala Custom, and rode the public bus for the first time in my life March 06.
Who I'd like to meet: People with less than 80,000 myspace freinds, people who are ready to start a new kind of church that doesn't care where people are coming from in their spiritual journey, but is obsessed with where they are going, and otherwise interesting folk. I don't think I've seen you in over two years or something. But last time I did see you...(two years ago) you shared this same vision with me. I'm filled joy over the news that it's actually being put into action. I'm in Grand Rapids for school and then leaving the country for a few months so I won't be able to see you in Detroit.
