The world should tolerate Egyptians, Israelites, Chinese, Americans, South Africans, Ethiopians, Australians, Russians, Austrians, New Zealanders, Indians, Afghanis, Taiwanese and any other race...The world is free to anyone who is born on it (don't have to include Tasmanians though right? :P).
Fuck skin colour or religious choice. As long as you are not harming anyone there is no harm in you being around. If you do harm someone for no reason than take a hike, you deserve no freedom. Anyone who harms another over religion or race should be put on an Island where they can battle it out and leave the rest of us out of it!

Hey all, I'm not really a big fan of these 'About Me'-type things...But here we go. I'm a lover of a beverage or two after a long (or not so long :P) day. However, always make it with company that you enjoy, never waste time with those whom you would not bother with if you had a choice, life is all there is (I wish someone would prove me wrong, but I am a man who believes in sciene and in what is seen :)) why waste it? Friends and family are what make you who you are. They are a reflection of you. They are what makes you you.
I'm at uni studying politics and international relations. The reason being that I want to make a real difference in the world. Most budding political students say that and it's so cliche right? Well if so, who gives a shit :)? I either try and succeed or fail, or don't try and wonder what if...
I live on the inner-South side of Brisbane in a small suburb called Fairfield. Nice, quiet and peaceful...Hopefully it can stay that way :). Fuck discrimination. If there is any justification for negative discrimination I am yet to hear it. Positive discrimination is another story...But only in very rare cases.
So no bigots please!
To hell with working in menial, repetitive and completely unrewarding jobs...That means no more KFC, Mcdonalds, Coles or Kmart if I can help it...I admire people who can deal with jobs like that because without any real motivation for a job I will, do and ahve fallen flat on my face. Hence why I am at uni; I NEED that dream job. That and I am lazy :P.
I will try most things once. However there are some obvious exceptions. I would love to get over my fear of huge heights. To speak metaphorically though, I would have to be pushed, I will not jump. Haha.
Not a fan of people who try and label or pigeonhole people. Grow up and stop being so fucking ignorant. What is with so called mature-aged people and name calling lately? Good example for the next-gen right?
As seems to be so popular on Myspace these days I will sum up with a paragraph :P... I love being philosophical (as if you can't tell!); I am always left with more questions than answers. I am self-concsious at times, certainly ambitious, stubborn, optimistic, and cynical, with a good mix of world weariness and naivety (I may only be young, but still...). I have erred and forgiven. I am a cocktail-shaker of emotions, but who isn't? Some would say that sounds paradoxal...I say that is to be human and is what we all are.
If you want to know anymore about me add me or something and we shall talk :).

Hey,
I know I don't come on here and stuff much but I was compelled to do so. The recently elected Rudd Government, which I supported, has failed to deny media reports that the upcoming budget does not include provisions for carer's and senior's bonus payments. My family struggles immensely financially as it is. Without these small but incredibly important bonus payments we would be unable to live.
I would greatly appreciate if you could go to this link and sign the petition I created there: http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/dont-get-rid-of-the-carers-and-seniors-bonus-payments-in-the-20082009-australian-federal-budget
We should be thankful for living in a democracy in which we can do this sort of thing and I intend to make full use of this ability. It will take you less than 1 minute to fill out but could make the world of difference to struggling families like mine and thousands of others around Australia.
Cheers,
Morgan
Face the facts...Fuck the Vanguard leading the movement, it needs to be a bottom to the top movement. Begin doing what you can to SAVE the ENVIRONMENT. Our way of life will disintegrate and the generations that follow will only be punished further if we continue to be so wasteful and ignorant.
While capitalism appears to be the only system that works, there needs to be a socialist element to keep it honest and I guess to help those that need it. Without the radical left to question what is morally right there would not be such a thing as democracy or even capitalism...Remember that :P. We need difference in opinion to keep people honest, so FUCK the ANTI-TERROR LAWS in modern Western society .
If your easy going than drop me a line if you so desire.
Plus these people: Don Bradman, Martin Luther King, Fat Mike, Cedric the Entertainer, Shane Warne, Gary Sobers, Richie Benaud, John Stuart Mill.
Hey dude! =) how have you been? Well I hope. We have to catch up! or go to the cricket soon. Need to be social haha. Sick at the moment though hey =( got a virus or something...hopefully will be better by the next time we go out for drinks or I might have to be that dreaded designated driver again =P haha. HOpe you're well =)
Just that nobody can have the right to expect other people to adhere to a particular view, or accept such a view for that matter.
my point was why should I have to accept an ideology that dictates that I have to give at least a portion of myt hard-earned money to other people and social services to those people, when most of those people can't get up off of their arses to find work. Especially in an economic climate where there is a very strong job surplus. There are too many people that need to be forced into the workforce. The perfect government, according to me, is socially moderate, economically liberalist, structurally conservative with flexibility, where science prevails over religion, and where environmental issues are approached even handedly and prudently - for the benefit of all.
Im serious this time, let's not get stuck into politics again...otherwise U will end up throtelling Paul, he will end up throtelling you, and I will WANT to throttel both of you, but I will be too lazzy to do it.
Anywayz, we'll catch up soon. C ya. Thank you for letting me digress. Tough titties (lol) if I pissed u off.
Hehehe, Im not a true convert, I just believe that Green Libertarianism is the only moral way to address green concerns. BTW, Green Libertarianism has no direct association with Left Libertarianism, property rights and ownership are still central to Green Libertarian thought, and work out to be the basis of the justification for prudent and effective green action.
Im definitely more statist though. Liberalist and Moderate Conservative. I accept the defeat with graciousness and dignity, as it is the "Liberal Way" according to the party, and its also who I choose to be.
LOL who is anyone to judge what is a step in the "right direction" lol. Liberalism, Mod. Conservatism and Environmental Concerns are totally reconcilable; environmental concerns are best solved, like all problems, in an environment that is condusive to competativeness and efficiency.
After all, the first political party to voice and act on environmental concerns in a substantial way was The Liberal Party, under Fraser, during a period of moderation on social and political policy. It was the 70s, after all. All I say is that its a pitty that the Party can't take a leave out of it's own book. The verdict is still out on climate change, but its better to be safe than sorry LOL. I still think Socialism is evil LMAO!
Hey, Congrats with the Labour win. We are a democracy, and the people decide. Labour obviously deserved the win. And as a Liberal, with a Libertarian core of thought, I happily concede victory with grace and dignity.
Im fine as long as Rudd doesnt fuck up the economy, and as long as he maintains the social mobility index, by retaining as minimal welfare system.
I value very deeply the fact that the transition between governments was smooth, efficient and effective, a testament to our flexible and enviable constitutional system.
Don't get me wrong, I will still fight for the principles, values and beliefs of classical libertarianism, and a new brand of libertarianism, green libertarianism, which even has the approval of Huang's beloved Von Mises Institute. I think I am almost a green libertarian convert LOL. Not quite yet.
Why should I be more proud of my loser brother, the violent, ultra-conservative, racist bastard he is - he represents everything that gives MODERATE conservatism, liberalism and libertarian thought a bad name.
P.S. U wanna catch up next week? Say wednesday or friday? I have to check my roster at work though.
Talk to ya soon. Hope ur enjoying ur holidays. I am. Bye.
hey morgan well sydney was ok i got my car stolen n it was burnt to the ground. but then we went to manly n had an awesome time then we came back on the plane n a week later i got a new car and it is awesome how r u goin xo
Hey dude, how's your weekend been? Did you take much away from that meeting? In hindsight I'm not sure I like the way that Brendon handles everything, I was looking forward to a more passionate debate really...in the sense that we could really flesh our standpoints out and engage in some critical debate. Then again, perhaps if at the next meeting they start talking about party politics, I can start stirring some people up and the argument can become heated? I know that Shelley, who was walking with us the other day, is an avid Liberal supporter...just think of the possibilities =P
Anyway dude, hope you're taking it easy after all of the hardcore assignments last week! Looking forward to having a drink with you next weekend before all of the stress of the exams kick in haha. =]
I can actually get into myspace at work now! No one can stop me now! LOL. I tried these types of sites before and they never worked right. This one works great so far with no problems! Check it out at
