| About Moral Less Right |
Some people have said that anything successful is first a series of mistakes. In the case of Moral Less Right, I'm not sure if you would call what has been exploited over the past 3 years mistakes, but rather a learning experience and paying of dues combined to refine a knowledge and compassion for what we refer to as our industry and our music.
Not to waste any of your time, we will decipher our simplistic history to date in a brief form and try not to bore you.
If there is one thing we've learning over all, it would be to just be honest with yourself. That is, ideally, what we have been striving for during the past three years.
Formed in the colder months of 2003 by long time friends singer/guitarist Nathan Locke and singer/guitarist Gary Moore, whom were attending 2nd and 1st year (respectively) Music Industry & Performance courses at College of the North Atlantic in the small secluded town of Stephenville, Newfoundland, Canada, The World, The Universe... Whatever. They soon found drummer Joey Pelley and bassist Andrew Pike who were also participating in the course. After they had a number of well received performances under their spiked belts and their first record, Not a Nine to Five, with friend/studio owner Stan Gallant, Andrew left on good terms and soon Bradley Colbourne took over bass duties while they showcased at the prestigious MIANL's and had media coverage from NTV news to the Herald to the Western Star.. Brad left shortly afterward. Joey had other plans in life and also decided to move on while bassist Bob Parsons joined. PJ Byrne had taken over drums for a short period of fun times before leaving for a life of metal. A self produced music video was released for the single "Fear of Truth" and a newer single "Emelar" was recorded by friends at the College somewhere in this time-line. The video was featured at the St. John's Independent Film Festival and the single "Emelar" was featured on the 20th Anniversary Peace-A-Chord Compilation CD. "Fear of Truth" won Track of the Day & Best Guitars in Punk awards on Garageband.com the week it was released. And is currently ranked #388 of 2,844 in Pop Punk.
Now with a slew of new material and the pressure to release a new record now for the past two years, Moral Less Right are in search for a new drummer and music to call their own.
