Bratmobile, Bikini Kill, Sleater-Kinney, The Specials, The Misfits, Bad Brains, The Pixies, The Cramps, and Bauhaus. Everything we've ever failed at, hated, loved, cried over, shouted at, flipped off, hugged, kissed, were jealous of, wanted, had, lost, and succeeded in.
Sounds Like
We play what sounds good to our ears. Energetic music WE would get up and dance to, not giving a fuck what genre our music falls under. This is NOT your 4 chord guitar, root note bass, same drum beat band. Weve got inspired guitar, girl vocals, kick ass drum beats and lots of b-a-s-s bass. (Seriously, we LOVE to turn the bass up WAYYYY high.) Other than that, get our cd and you tell us!
Monster-Sized Monsters wants to prove to you that we are determined to do something new, uncatagorizable, and exciting in a world where every thing's been done before. We want to start something big, we want to make an impact. And if we don't, we sure as hell are going to have a fantastic time trying. Come be a part of that. Come to a show and remember what it's like to have a good time.
For booking information send a message to this MySpace account or contact monstersizedmonsters@gmail.com. We are almost always looking for shows in the NW united states, and radio shows.

Hey! What's up new myspace friend? Here are some of our artists newest MP3's! Check them out and let us know what you think! You can also hear a ton more of our bands songs on iTunes.
yeah, I think our shows are going to be a bit drier from now on. We we're bummed on how we played, and pretty bummed about the window too. At least I just made enough to cover a window and rent though.
let us know if you're ever in the area. good to see someone observe the obseletion of root note bass haha. the tracks on our myspace are over a year and half old and we have a completely new set that i think you might dig much more. either way, i think it'd be fun to someday set up a show. this is our latest flyer,
Come check out LiveMusicPDX. com to find out about all the coolest local Portland bands playing in a venue near you and why whiskey makes Jake and Don the happiest.
hey hannah, thanks! that's totally awesome and so is msm! i was all psyched to come to your show on the 2nd until i realized i'm playing a party that night and i was all like, "nooooooooooo!" in slow motion and shit like in the movies. i will be there in spirit. i hope your tour is freakin' amazing!
yes but that's because of an accident i was in saving a baby refugee from a land mine, and i don't appreciate you making fun of it. when was the last time you saved a baby refugee from anything?
i saw y'all walking down 7th a little while ago and i was about to stop but i got smashed by a 1958 Ford Custom 300 Tudor and had to stop and cry. i think my body dented their car.
Hello. Greatly enjoying the music. Sam K of Tibetan Beef Garden got me into it. He sits next to me in History class, so I suppose it was inevitable. Anyway, just stopping by the say thanks for making the Portland music scene all the more enjoyable.
I was an eclectic child and I am still the same. I love many different things, even things that seem too far to have something in common, things coming from opposite worlds. A had a girlfriend 2 years ago that made me discover Bikini Kill, Vice Squad and their great sound. I think your music is great, too! I discovered your myspace profile just for chance, looking for informations about Emily: when I saw her in Paranoid Park I thought she was just perfect. Greetings from Italy!
