Over the years, Guffond and Tilly would add live performance and installation work to their résumé, and would release a number of records for a handful of labels. Working with Tonshact (with which they released a 7" EP) and Sigma (1999's full-length, Music), Minit developed their work, culminating in a well-received 2004 album on Pavone, Now Right Here. As time wore on, Minit -- fitting nicely next to the rise of atmospheric post-rock à la Kranky Records in the early part of the 21st century -- would add to their live show, incorporating more instrumentation. The pair would later make their base of operations in the decidedly more experimental music-friendly Berlin, Germany. ~ Chris True
