About me: My name is Ming Mong, and I was born in the Shan Dong province of Eastern China. My mother was a travelling trapeze artist, and my father was a rice farmer.
She was never around for me, and it was up to my timid father and grandfather to raise me. To make matters worse, I was born with a cleft back, a cosmetic problem, but one that has seriously hindered my social interaction with the fellow children of my small village.
Then, last summer, my father and grandfather were killed in a horrible fire. I was truly alone.
Alone that is, until the intervention of Tom, Jake, and Joe. Ever since they adopted me, my life has been nothing but excitment.
They hope to raise the money needed to pay for the cosmetic surgery that will correct my freakish physical deformity and allow me to be reintigrated into my backwards, primitive society.
Who I'd like to meet: Ming Mong like to meet you... but Ming Mong live in China. Tom Jake Joe hope to bring Ming Mong to America. But can't do it without your help...

Check out the trailer for uPressplay's first feature, written and directed by Matt Brookens. Jack works an easy job at the movie theater with his pal Nick, a sci-fi geek, and his aspiring actress girlfriend, Sharon. He used to be a pretty good painter, but there isn’t much inspiration in this zombie-like existence. All of that is about to change. Enter Marcus, a pissed off ninja-in-training with something to prove. Fueled by disgust for Jack’s apathy and a cruel sensei, Marcus takes it upon himself to teach a brutal lesson: Great art comes from great pain. What follows is a bloody trail of seduction, murder and maiming that only a ninja can inflict. Now, painting in a frenzy, Jack must fight not only for his art, but his life. Click Here

Oh Ming Mong... I'm just checking in with you. It's totally normal that your fathers haven't mentioned you in weeks... see, sometimes Daddies have important priorities like X-Box, porn, or drinking on Saturday nights. Know that if you're feeling ignored or neglected or unwanted, you shouldn't. Tom, Joe and Jake love you very much and will see that you recieve all the fried rice and wontons you need. :) Umm... but if they ever do get you here to Chicago, and touch you in any strange places, let me know.
I can't believe it! The video I made a few years ago was featured on the front page of MySpace.com!
It now has over 195,000 views. This is beyond my wildest imagination. Because of the popularity, many people want to interview me now. I've also been asked to create a longer version for TV, but with other POV from other soldiers and possibly family/friends of the soldiers.
The first thing I'll do is make an extended version of "Scarred for Life", a Director's Cut. I've been thinking of selling it for download of $1 to help fund "Scarred for Life II".
What do you think?
Ming Mong if you haven't seen "Scarred for Life" yet click on my videos from my profile.

Hello Ming Mong !
I wanted to let you know my video "Scarred for Life" is getting thousands of views. It's featured in the News and Politics section. This is very exciting for me because I made it for people to see. Some of the comments say it even made them cry.
