Heavy Dew seems to be a project of mine i recorded with RANDALL DUNN at aleph and litho here in seattle. these are mostly road songs from my days escaping chicago winters as a busker. i also seem to be writing songs for SPOILS and Master Musicians of Bukkake. i worked in the studio this past year with Asva, and did a live run with Earth. i spend most of my time finding my keys and losing them. my favorite is Q. ASTRID and CLARA may be a caveman jazz band i drum for and FORTRESS GROUP seems to be another thing all together.
Milky Burgess! Is that where youd got oft to? Twas nice to visit wid chu over transcendental hindu stanie emotions. Hopefully some or ruther project of yours will visit our great golden gate, and we can act jaded over sound and intention again. awesome. xox queen of the velvet brainwaves, krisdagger
After watching Fortress Group tonight I had a few thoughts, FIRST..."Mama Tried" might be all about the last few notes, riff central...SECOND...the sax solo on "It's All in the Movies" is pretty sweet...THIRD...hmmm, can't remember now, it's some thought which is an amaglmation of Neil Young's "Too Far Gone," the Beach Boys early '70s albums and something about breathing correctly and well.
Hey thanks for adding The Local Music Show. It means so much to us, we're going to name our next baby after you. In the mean time, we're now podcasting at www.SeattleChannel.org/TheLocalMusicShow. Thanks. And we're serious about that baby.
