Guitar music, stuff like Rainbow, The Killers, Sham 69, Pulp, Sex Pistols, Kaiser Cheifs, Ramones, Sleeper, Shed 7, Ash, Thin Lizzy all rock!
I also have a passion for soul. When you listen to soul music it sounds like they mean what their singing about. Its all very passionate and meaningful. Artsits like Edwin Star, Marvin Gaye, Frank Wilson, Jocelyn Brown, Martha Reeves, Shalamar, Luther Vandross, Jackie Wilson Sam Cooke & R Dean Taylor. You can hear artists like this on The Seaside FM Soul Train 5-6pm every Sunday.
Television
In my opinion TV isnt what it used to be and becasuse of that I cant say i watch that much of it anymore. I do remember the classics though like Tiswas, Boon, Knight Rider and Rentaghost, Gambit, Mork & Mindy, Happy Days, 321, Chancer and you cant beat a bit of bully!

About me: Hello! This is the myspace page for The Mike Brown Radio Show.
It's a radio programme which can be heard every Sunday between 2-6pm on Seaside FM 105.3 in East Yorkshire or anywhere in the world at www.seasideradio.co.uk
The show basically revolves around good music and tries to remind you all that it's still the weekend and there are still plenty of things to go and do.
I regularly have guests on the show from the world of comedy or music and am quite happy to give them all the airtime they need to plug their gigs, something no other radio station in this area seems to want to do.

Who I'd like to meet: Y O U ! ? If I've befriended you it'll be for a reason. Maybe your in a band, maybe your into radio or maybe I just like what you do.
I'm looking for new bands to send me a demo. If it doesnt contain any swearing I'll play it on Seaside FM. O.K, its not quite BBC Radio 1 but its a start right? Message me and we'll get something arranged.
I'm also looking for guests to come into the studio on a Sunday Afternoon. I'm very lucky to have had loads of people in the studio, from singers to bands, from comics to theatre groups. So if youv'e got a talent, flaunt it!
Other people i'd like to meet are Tom from My Space so I can punch him. I'm not normally violent but I dont like the cut of his jib. Rick Astley, just because he seems a bit odd to me, otherwise I'm not really one of these people who craves to meet people just because they are famous. At the end of the day they're just like you and me, normal people trying to get by.
