Mightymightymatze's Interests
General
Music, football (European style), cooking, my friends (corny, huh?), blogging, the Internet in general, politics, intelligent lifeforms.
Music
Too many bands to mention, but I dig all things Rock (with an edge, please), Punkrock, Punk'n'Roll, Rock'n'Roll, Indierock, some Alternative Rock, Indie, Singer/Songwriter, Indielectro, and some of this Electro stuff I dig too. Sometimes I'm in the mood for Hip Hop.
My radio at laut.fm. User generated radio - kicking your ass since 2008.
Movies
Hm. I like sarcasm, so I guess "Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels" is an all-time fave. And for no explicable reason I love "Trainspotting". And I like James Bond. He's the man.
Television
I usually just switch it on for the news and information, but I'll let you laugh at me for liking the Gilmore Girls.
Books
I used to like "On The Road" by Jack Kerouac a lot, and in general the whole Beatnik lot, but I also like the classics. And "Fleisch Ist Mein Gemüse" by Heinz Strunk.
Heroes
I don't think I have any heroes in the sense that I strive to be like somebody else. I dig those who manage to live their own lives so that they are successful according to their own terms.
Nothing much. I work (as a music journalist), I am studied (Political Science), I pretend to have a life, I have strong opinions with which not everybody will agree, and modern art makes me want to rock out. Some people consider me intelligent, some funny. I don't know if that combines very well.
Oh, and I blog. If you're curious what I am listening to right now, you can check me out on last.fm.
Who I'd like to meet: Somebody with a recipe for World Peace. Oh, and Dave Grohl.
Alles tipptopp. Inklusive Sonnenstich. Auch die Kontrolle der Herren in grün haben wir unbeschadet überstanden. Jetzt checke ich gleich mal deinen Last-FM-Account. Virtuelles Stalking nennt man das vermutlich. Liebe Grüße A.
Ja, gut angekommen bin ich auch wenn zehn stunden zugfahrt ihre spuren hinterlassen haben. Die Augen zittern immer noch, als würde ich die vorbeirasenden Bäume beobachten...
