I have worked for approximately 20 years as a professional musician in different live and studio situations. For about 7 years I've busied myself intensively with the most different forms of electronic music as well as Drum' n' bass, House, Ambient, Dub and electronic Avantgard. New rhythm- and sound-worlds have opened themselves to me. The connection of acoustic Drumset and the inexhaustible possibilities of electronic gear are very attractive, demanding and exciting.
My album-project FROST is the result of the gathered experiences of the last years. With my bands COMFORT ZONE and eQUARIUS, the WEIGL & HOFFMANN project and the ambient improvisation project EK-LOUNGE I move on similar grounds. Further new interesting electronic projects are on the way. News about this I will announce here.

ja ambient-art-lounge'iges ... im november haben wir geburtstag - 1 jahr :-) ... wird schon eine coole session werden denke ich. inzwischen haben wir neben den percussionisten auch hie und da drummer dabei - soundmäßig ist's noch nicht ganz stimmig aber der spass passt! hier ein paar eindrücke von session 09.

Dein neues Album ist wirklich klasse. The Passenger gefällt mir am besten. Wäre schön, wenn Du mal wieder bei 'ner Lounge-Session dabei sein könntest. Viele Grüße!
