Born on the borderline of Texas and Mexico, Michael Cinicola started his three-dimensional journey December 12th, 1985.
Raised in El Paso, a predominantly Hispanic city, Michael was introduced to being a minority at an early age. Not fitting in, he and his family moved to Pensacola (a city in Northwest Florida) to be closer to relatives.
Michael began writing his first rhymes to be humorous and impress friends, but after witnessing the rise of Kid Rock, Limp Bizkit, and Eminem, his interest and confidence grew.
At the age of fourteen, after giving himself his first stage name: Eccko, Michael dubbed his first song on a Karaoke machine, entitled: The Realest Emcee. As time passed and middle school came to a end, online friends introduced him to recording music on a computer and exporting songs as MP3's.
During the process of preplanning his first demo, Michael entered adolescence and changed his stage name to Blazed Mic.
Nearly completing his first album, he scrapped the six songs he finished and started over. After a second year of preparation, Michael finally released his first project, Different.
Growing as a teenager and a song maker, Michael decided to make his first CD the first CD of a trilogy: the first album being passionate, the second album being at a crossroad, and the final album being corrupted.
Dealing with the pressures of influence and trying to live up to the 'rugged' rapper image, Michael began attempting to embody the corruption he created. As time passed, he realized he was trying to live a life filled with characteristics he didn't possess, which lead him to quit making music.
After enrolling in community college, Michael went nearly a year without recording a song and focused only on his future and spirituality. Eventually, he came to the conclusion that he didn't have to stop making music completely; but instead, needed to tone himself down and take another approach at success.
He now makes music under his real name, Michael Cinicola, and writes in-between running his multimedia production company: Michael Cinicola Productions.
