is American-born but lived her first five years in Yokohama, Japan.
MIARI is half Japanese and half Scandinavian. MIARI started singing at the age of 4, but in front of audiences at the age of 6.
MIARI is an international recording artist with an astounding vocal range and an amazing stage presence.
MIARI is a graduate of the San Diego, CA Creative and Performing Arts High School with majors in Vocals, Dance, Acting, TV and Stage Set Designs.
She took the stage as lead female vocalist for the band DISCOVERY on the Disneyland Tomorrowland Terrace stage.
MIARI appeared on STAR SEARCH twice, once as a solo artist and once with her band. She also was the lead vocalist for TV shows such as CITY GUYS, THAT'S SO RAVEN, KIMPOSSIBLE, as well as many others. She has also recorded background vocals on CHRISTINA AGUILERA's christmas song "THIS YEAR", as well as background vocals for JENNIFER LOPEZ, BRANDY and various other artists.
You might have even heard her voice on many commercial jingles around the US.
In 2000 she appeared as the hostess along side PAUL ALLEN at the
Pre-Grammy awards.
MIARI was also chosen to sing the NATIONAL ANTHEM at a reception in San Diego in honor of MOHAMMAD ALI and GEORGE FORMAN, as well as many other sporting events.
In 2000 she signed a record deal with IRVING AZOFF'S label GIANT/WARNER BROS. RECORDS.
MIARI played the role of CELESTE in the recently-released movie TONY & TINA'S WEDDING starring MILA KUNIS from THAT 70'S SHOW, JOEY MC INTYRE from NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK, and ADRIAN GRENIER from THE ENTOURAGE, in which she also sang all of the female vocals on the movie soundtrack along with JOSEPH WILLIAMS from the long-time band TOTO.
MIARI is currently a session vocalist for various producers such as SCOTT SPOCK and the MATRIX, GUY ROCHE, GEORGIO MERRODER, MATHEW GERRARD and JASON BOWEN.
