Robyn Scott received a degree in addiction studies to work in the field of drug and alcohol treatment. Instead, she went into theatre. Unrelated fields? She thinks not. While she enjoyed performing in dramatic productions, like The Importance of Being Earnest with The Oasis Theatre Project in Florida, Robyn discovered her passion for sketch comedy when she co-starred in Parallel Lives: The Kathy and Mo Show. She went on to pursue improvisational training at The Second City, and since graduating from their Conservatory she has enjoyed performing with several Chicago companies – favorites include pH Productions and Boots. She also works in commercials and film, and has been featured at comedy festivals with ensembles such as B.R.A.T. Productions™ in their hit comedy Poppy Seed Lane. The Today Show on NBC recently filmed Robyn in action at The Second City where she works as an actor, keynote speaker, and workshop facilitator for Second City Communications.

Who I'd like to meet: Come see Mere Fluff, the comedy show that's creamy, smooth, and spreads evenly!
The Chicago Tribune says, "Somewhere, George Burns and Gracie Allen are in stitches. [The material] dissects celebrity in so many ways, sometimes in smart, precise, poignant stings, other times in broad swings that border on the ridiculous. Larkin...with his elastic smile, completely disappears into his roles. Scott...is a constant ball of energy. [They are] hilarious individually...but they work best as a pair. They have wonderful chemistry."
The Chicago Reader says, "Veteran actor-comedians Robyn Scott and Bill Larkin perform a smorgasbord of characters in this sketch revue, getting laughs from satire, impersonations, puppetry, mime, improv, and musical numbers. The ballsy Larkin's hilarious at the keyboard... Highly Recommended!"
Centerstage Chicago says, "Punchy, quick-witted and smart. After the initial skit establishing theme and tone, things just get funnier. [Mere Fluff] will leave you doubled over, laughing and, eventually, crying. Editor's Pick!"
The Real Chicago says, "it reminded me of the mid-90's Canadian sketch comedy series 'Kids in the Hall.'"
Time Out Chicago says, "Stand-out points: a beautifully acted scene in which Scott leaves voice mails for her drug-addicted daughter and…a Gilbert Gottfried impression (never thought we'd ever say that)."
RedEye/Metromix selected Mere Fluff as a Best Bet and a Metromix Pick!
