Melodic Energy Commission has finally finished recording their new album titled "Wave Packet". Do not assume that silence means 'nothing is happening'. However, their productions are always steeped in wooden barrels until every sonic detail is of it's proper flavour. The final mixes will be available anyday now. MELODIC ENERGY COMMISSION was formed many centuries ago to investigate and experiment with the energy caused by melodies, portrayed through sound patterns often classified as music.
Their original sound patterns were inscribed into clay cylinders and later, vinyl platters then distributed throughout the galaxies. Eventually, the investigations expanded to rhythmic and atonal pattern interpretation. So, more recordings have been created during these investigations and began appearing around planet earth. On their recent plastic discs the Commissioners have placed advanced communications, disguised as songs and elaborate soundscapes.
This MySpace page is an entranceway into a world of sonic contortions, but this street corner isn't the place to display the secrets of the research.

Great set at Kits days! I made sure to come out at 11 AM!!! I've never seen you before! i wish i brought the record and cassette i own of yers to be autographed- sigh, regrets. The DJ was an ass BTW and you guys were the most important thing on that stage that day by far, I wished you got a totally primo time slot that you deserve, you are such an adventurous important band doing something so much your own, thanks so much!

Nice photo of your instruments you posted on my site. Do you have them already built up to use for a performance in Second Life or would you like them built for you? If so it would help to have sketches / photos from various angles although I could use the one sketch you posted.
